This cajon very traditional sounding, with the completely closed hitting surface and modern insides. The snare wires which are attached inside throughout the complete breadth give a prevailing snare sound. The snare is very easy to play and can be used in the most nuanced of performances.
The optimally calculated sound opening on the back of the Cajon functions as a bass reflex channel which guarantees a pumping, loud, dry bass that wonderfully harmonizes with the snare.
In addition to these drum set typical qualities comes the "rim shot" in the upper corners of the Cajon and the bongo similar sounds on the outsides of the hitting surface.
