It's smooth, the length and balance are spot-on. The weight is exactly
right and it fits like a glove. It took me about an hour to get used to, but once I knew how to work with it, it really opened opportunities.
The large outside diameter makes it have a smooth sound and a forgiveness that plays really well.

Father & Son Simon allow you to choose the dimension of your slide, you can even choose the edge profil. Mine is bevelled on both sides.
